The TMJ Treatments

TMJ Clicking
TMJ disorders can also cause a clicking sound or grating sensation when you open your mouth or chew.
TMJ Reconstruction
TMJ reconstruction with total joint prostheses, orthognathic surgery, and other adjunctive procedures.
Arthroscopy and Arthrocentesis
Help loosen the joint or to move a disc that has been displaced and is causing the joint not to function properly.
Locked Jaw
One of the most used and under-acknowledged joints in our bodies is one you’ve likely not heard of before: the temporomandibular joint. Often simply shortened to TMD or TMJ
Jaw Dislocation
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dislocation occurs when the condyle of the jaw moves forward, out of its functional position within the glenoid fossa and posterior articular eminence into a position in front of these structures. This stretches the ligaments and muscles, provoking intense local orofacial pain.
TMJ Pain
TMJ flare-ups can last from a couple of hours to several days. Untreated cases of TMJ disorder can become chronic and debilitating. The length of time that TMJ flare-ups last depends on the person. Each case is different and is determined by the underlying cause and if any treatment is being utilized.
